Terms of Service

Effective 2026-09-27. PreShift is provided by Adam P. Gibbons, a sole trader at 121 Glencam Road, BT79 7HB, United Kingdom, trading as PreShift; contact support@preshift.algd.store for anything about these terms.

The service

PreShift is software for recording vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections. It is provided by Adam P. Gibbons ("we"), a sole trader at 121 Glencam Road, BT79 7HB, United Kingdom, trading as PreShift.

You keep ownership of everything you put into it: inspection records, photos, roster data. We claim no licence over it beyond what is needed to run the service for you.

Price and payment

PreShift costs $39.00 per month per fleet, billed in advance through Stripe. The price does not vary with the number of vehicles or drivers.

Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see them. Failed payments pause the fleet's write access after a grace period, and the export of your data does not pause.

Acceptable use

You agree not to upload content you have no right to, not to attempt to access another fleet's records, and to keep your logins to yourself.

An inspection recorded in PreShift is a record of what a driver reported, not a certification of roadworthiness, and not a substitute for the inspection your jurisdiction requires the driver to perform.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as-is. Our aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid in the twelve months before a claim.

We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service.

Changes and termination

We will announce material changes to these terms by email at least 14 days before they take effect. You may cancel at any time; see the refund policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland.
